International Ocean Stewardship Forum 2009 International Ocean Stewardship Forum 2009 10-12 June 2009 National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, UK http://www.oceanstewardship.com/ Following the success of our 2008 event, the 2009 International Ocean Stewardship Forum will aim to strengthen the coordination between marine policy making and implementation, with particular focus on two topical themes in marine governance: 16th International Symposium on Polar Sciences We are pleased to announce that the 16th International Symposium on Polar Sciences will be held in Incheon, South Korea, on June 10-12, 2009. Korea Polar Research Institute (KOPRI) annually hosts polar scientists in the world to discuss the progress and future of polar sciences. http://symposium.kopri.re.kr/ Abstract deadline: 17 April 2009 This year, the symposium will be dedicated in particular to celebrate launch of a brand new icebreaker, R/V Araon.
