Announcement 2019
The InterRidge Office is pleased to announce the launch of call for Student and Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in 2019. As part of InterRidge’s mission to promote international, collaborative, and interdisciplinary studies of oceanic spreading centers, we invite proposals for InterRidge Student and Postdoctoral Fellowships of up to 5000 US$ each. These Fellowships are designed to encourage international collaboration on any aspect of ridge-crest science by graduate students or postdoctoral researchers, fostering long-standing partnerships for their future careers. The Fellowships can be used for any field of ridge-crest research in line with the Third Decadal Plan (2014-2023) of InterRidge. Proposals out of this scope will not be considered. These awards may be used, for instance, for cruise participation or laboratory work by adding an international dimension to the Fellow’s research. In 2019 we may offer up to 6 IR Fellowships.
All application materials are to be submitted electronically to the InterRidge Coordinator (interridge@ipgp.fr) by 31st March 2019 8 April 2019 (new deadline).
