The International Seabed Authority announced an at-sea training programme in 2015 submitted by Japan Oil, Gas, and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC) for three trainees from the developing States, according to the contract for exploration for cobalt-rich ferromanganese crusts between the International Seabed Authority and JOGMEC.
