ACCOMMODATION
I have block booked a number of rooms in two hotels. I cannot make your actual room booking as passport copies are required and prepayment is needed in some cases.
- Each participant should confirm his/her booking directly with the hotel, stating that you are a partner of VNIIOkeangeologia (in order to receive a negotiated discount, the deadline is 30 April).
- Visa - when making your hotel booking, ask for an invitation / visa support letter. This will cost 750 rubles. Using this invitation, apply for a visa through your own consulate. We are advised that a tourist visa is sufficient, but please check with your national embassy if in doubt.
- You need to send a copy of your passport to the hotel and a copy to the IR Office.

AIRPORT TRANSFER TO HOTELS
I have been told that all those who gave me their flight details will be met at the airport, with someone holding your name on a board.
If, for any reason you are not met, you can take a taxi. This will cost about 20-30€, (approx. 1000 ruble).
You can also use public transport to get to the hotel.
From Pulkovo 1 (local) airport: take bus 39 to "Moskovskaya" metro station, then use direct line to get to "Sennaya ploschad" metro station. From Sennaya ploschad take minibus K-1 or 169. Your stop is at the crossing of Dekabristov street and Angliysky prospect. Mind! the minibuses don't have fixed stops, you have to ask the driver to stop where you need. Then walk 100 m along Dekabristov st. towards river Pryazhka emb. and you will see the hotel on the left side.
