The vent datebase 3.3 is lauched on our web

Ventbase Version 3.3 is the present live site hosted by InterRidge. Version 3.3 launched on 26 May 2015 with two structural changes to the content type “vent field”: 1) we added an rdf:type to match to http://dbpedia.org/resource/Hydrothermal_vent, and 2) we added a database record field to link to the Smithsonian Institution Global Volcanism Program volcano profile for those vent fields that are sub-features of these identified volcanic features.

We would like to thank our former coordinator, Dr Stace Beaulieu for helping maintain this database.
